Weekly Schedule for Students and Parents
Students and Parents:
The week of August 10th will begin the first full week of virtual learning.
Here is a reminder of how each week throughout Distance Learning will progress and what students should be doing every day until we are able to transition to the Hybrid Learning Model:
What will students do on Mondays?
Morning: In the morning, students should log in to Canvas and check each of their classes for information and updates from their teachers. Teachers will have posted their assignments and work for the week so students will know what to expect. They will clearly indicate all assignments the students should complete. Students will begin working in Canvas on Monday morning as if they were on their normal bell schedule and continue independently working on assignments until they check-in with their teacher at 12:15 p.m.
12:15 p.m.: Students will log in and attend their 2nd period class every Monday. This 20-minute class session is required, and teachers will take attendance.
Afternoon: Monday afternoons are set aside for students to get academic support or complete academic work independently. Teachers will have office hours, small group collaboration opportunities, and will be available for students who need assistance.
Student Expectations – Tuesdays – Fridays:
Students will follow the normal block schedule for Distance Learning. For times of each period, please see the Bell Schedule for your school site.
