Adult School - 7th Street

A well-conceived design makes the Chaffey Adult School Education Center water sustainability
practices consistent. Weather sensitive irrigation controls programed with cycle and soak
intervals and planters covered with mulch reduce evaporation and maintain moisture. Areas of
unnecessary landscape were identified and redesigned to further reduce the need for irrigation.
The use of reclaimed water reduces the consumption of potable water. Low flow flushometers
have been installed in restroom facilities. Routine coverage checks keep water on the landscape
and off hardscape surfaces.
