Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.

The Food Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, wellbeing, and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Food and beverages served at school meet the nutrition recommendations of the U.S. Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of food items each day. All students will be offered free breakfast and lunch.

SUN Bucks, California’s Summer EBT program provides $40 per month for food during June, July, and August—totaling $120 per eligible child. This program can help you buy groceries when school is out.

To determine eligibility, an application is required and may be subject to verification. If you are interested, please click the link below to submit your application promptly to ensure access to all eligible benefits. You will need to provide your child’s name, school, date of birth, household members' names, household income, and address for sending the benefit card. No documentation is needed to apply. For assistance with the application or questions, contact the SUN Bucks helpline at (877) 328-9677

The issuance of the EBT card is dependent on state processing times and is expected to take place later in the summer or potentially in the fall. If you receive more than $120 per eligible child in your household, do not use the benefits. Contact the SUN Bucks helpline at (877) 328-9677 to confirm or correct the error.
