Attention Class of 2020

Dear Class of 2020 Graduates,

I hope you are all doing well. This summer remains an unprecedented time as Covid-19 continues to impact our County, State, and especially our immediate region. As we continue to be guided by State and County Health Departments, unfortunately, due to the government’s ongoing no large group gathering order, we will be unable to conduct a commencement ceremony on each school campus in late July for our 2020 graduates as we had hoped.

Although our drive-up graduation experiences allowed you to walk across the stage and receive your diploma, I know that one of your wishes was to say goodbye to your classmates. We are committed to planning a special reunion gathering for the class of 2020 on each campus once we know that it is safe to do so. We hope that this gathering can be held during the college winter break or at the end of next school year. Please watch for updates on your principal’s twitter account and our District website. I know your principal and teachers are looking forward to seeing you all again at the reunion.  I hope you stay healthy and safe.
