African American Parent Advisory Council (AAPAC)

CJUHSD AAPAC

The purpose of the African-American Parent Advisory Councils (AAPACs) is to involve and engage parents, families, students, educators, and community members in the decision-making process at the local and district levels to work collectively to improve the academic performance and success of African American students.

African-American Parent Advisory Councils (AAPACs) have been established at various schools in the Chaffey Joint Union High School District to recognize the vital role of parent/guardian involvement in fostering student success.  The AAPAC is open to and welcomes all parents.

African-American Parent Advisory Councils (AAPACs) are currently established at the following schools, with the expectation that, ultimately, all schools will offer this engagement opportunity for parents/guardians.

  • Alta Loma High School
  • Colony High School
  • Etiwanda High School
  • Los Osos High School
  • Rancho Cucamonga High School
