COOL ROOFING

A cool roof is a roofing system with a membrane that is light in color. White Cool roofing systems reflect a significant percentage of sunlight. Lowering roof temperature means less heat entering a building, which reduces energy usage and peak demand electric power cost. Cool roofs help reduce the need for air conditioning and improves indoor air quality.

Alta Loma High School has installed reflective “Cool Roofing” on the Multipurpose Room, the F Building, Gymnasium, Cafeteria, Swimming Pool Complex, and The D Building for a total of 122,490 SF.
