COOL ROOFING

A cool roof is a roofing system with a membrane that is light in color. White Cool roofing systems reflect a significant percentage of sunlight. Lowering roof temperature means less heat entering a building, which reduces energy usage and peak demand electric power cost. Cool roofs help reduce the need for air conditioning and improves indoor air quality.

Los Osos High School has installed reflective “Cool Roofing” on the Gymnasium, B Building, D Building, and the P Building for a total of 198,000 SF.
