A cool roof is a roofing system with a membrane that is light in color. White Cool roofing systems reflect a significant percentage of sunlight. Lowering roof temperature means less heat entering a building, which reduces energy usage and peak demand electric power cost. Cool roofs help reduce the need for air conditioning and improves indoor air quality.

 

Rancho Cucamonga High School has installed reflective “Cool Roofing” on the Gymnasium, Concessions Building, Multipurpose Building, Auditorium, and the D, G, K, L, N Buildings for a total of 93,092 SF.
