A cool roof is a roofing system with a membrane that is light in color. White Cool roofing systems reflect a significant percentage of sunlight. Lowering roof temperature means less heat entering a building, which reduces energy usage and peak demand electric power cost. Cool roofs help reduce the need for air conditioning and improves indoor air quality.

 

Chaffey Adult School has installed reflective “Cool Roofing” on the Administration and Classroom Buildings for a total of 22,000 SF.
