The Chaffey Joint Union High School District Transportation Department is an essential part of our students’ educational experience. With an operating budget of more than $1.3 million, we manage a fleet of 58 buses operated by 32 professional drivers, supported by skilled mechanics and dispatch staff.
Together, we provide safe, dependable transportation for over 25,000 students each year.
Our buses travel daily between home and school, and our department also plays a key role in supporting athletics, arts, and other extracurricular activities. On any given week, up to 26 buses are on the road late into the evening, ensuring students have safe transportation to and from events.
We take pride in maintaining a modern, safe, and reliable fleet while working seven days a week to meet the needs of our schools and families. The Transportation Department is more than just a service—it’s a trusted partner in the success of the CJUHSD community.
If you have questions or need assistance, please reach out. We are all here to support the students, staff and community that we are part of.

https://forms.gle/ksUPgDrDtXgJWdgcA
As seats become available throughout the school year, waitlisted students will be offered transportation services. Parents/Guardians will only be notified when transportation services are awarded.
Please take note of the following reminders:
- Completing the transportation form does not guarantee transportation services.
- Your students’ services do not automatically roll over into the next school year.
- Priority will be given to students who live 3 or more miles from their assigned school boundaries.
- Students on any kind of transfer do not qualify for transportation services.
- Bus stops are assigned. If your student is not awarded transportation services and they do not receive a bus pass, they cannot ride the bus.
- We will transport as many students as each bus’s capacity permits.
- Due to high demand, please fill out the form only if you intend to use transportation services daily.
- If your student does not participate for three consecutive school days without immediate notice to the transportation office, their transportation services will be discontinued.
- To ensure the safety of all students and the efficient operation of services, it is critical that students use only the bus stops that have been officially designated by the school district.
Communication from the Transportation Office will be sent to the email address used during registration and/or using the ParentSquare App. If you have not yet signed up for the ParentSquare App, or need to adjust your notifications and settings, please click on the link below for further instructions on how to do so.
