Aamirah Day, Student Board Representative

Aamirah Day is currently a senior at Colony High School. She has spent four years in ASB while currently holding the position of ASB President. As president, she is passionate about creating a safe environment for all people to freely be themselves. Aamirah has participated in Black Student Union since freshman year which has allowed her to develop new relationships on campus and connect with other African American students. Aamirah has participated in Girls Varsity Volleyball, Girls Varsity Track and Field, and Girls Varsity Flag Football. Since freshman year, she has been involved in honors and AP courses to challenge and grow her academic knowledge.
Aamirah is involved in many organizations outside of school which gives her the opportunity to give back to the community in ways like making meals for low-income households and providing meals to homeless shelters. She loves to volunteer at her church and surround herself around positivity. During her free time, she loves to do art, travel, write positive notes for others, and spend quality time with family, and friends. A fun fact about Aamirah is that she knows how to play the violin! |
