The Assessment and Research department provides support to district and site staff through the maintenance of the student information system, administration of state and federal assessments, administration of The College Board assessments, coordination of the AVID program, monitoring student achievement outcomes (A-G, freshmen success, and on-track students), student FAFSA completion, federal program monitoring support and coordination, district data reports, coordination of the California School Dashboard, CALPADS submissions, federal data reporting, coordination of school site registrars, support of the free and reduced price meal program, Visual and Performing Arts Department support, Physical Education Department support, and attendance/independent study process monitoring. The Assessment and Research Department provides professional development opportunities centered on assessment administration, accountability systems, data usage, as well as database planning, training, and management. Our goal is to ensure all CJUHSD students are ready for college and careers upon graduation from our schools. Phil Schuler, Ed.D.
