The Risk Management Department oversees the District's general liability and property insurance to provide loss control and risk assessment services to mitigate and reduce negative liability exposure. The Department maintains compliance with Federal, State and Local Governments by providing effective injury illness prevention and hazard communication programs that include, but not limited to: disaster preparedness, employee safety training, safety inspections, hazardous waste removal, integrated pest management, air pollution episode procedures, driver eligibility clearances, safety committees.
